Meet Tobin Brothers, a Guardian Funeral Provider in Kingston

Tobin Brothers, a Guardian Funeral Provider is part of the extended Guardian Funerals network of Australian funeral homes. We have been caring for the families and local communities in Canberra, the ACT and surrounding areas since 1946.

Nestled in one of the oldest and most densely populated suburbs of Canberra, we work with families in and around the nation’s capital, including those from Kingston, Griffith, Narrabundah, Deakin, Yarralumla and Forrest.

Our funeral directors will help you to arrange a funeral that reflects your loved one’s life, no matter your cultural or religious background. We’ll help you customise the service, and we’ll take care of all the behind-the-scenes paperwork and arrangements so that you don’t need to worry about a thing.

Funeral services in Kingston

Recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to funeral services, we will work with you to help you realise your loved one’s wishes.

You may wish to hold the funeral service at:

  • Our spacious chapel
  • A local church such as:
    • St Christopher’s Cathedral
    • St Pauls Anglican Church
    • St Benedict’s Catholic Church
    • St Peter Chanel Church
    • St John’s Anglican Church
  • A destination of your choosing, such as a local park, club or private residence

Following the ceremony, your loved one can be buried or memorialised at Woden Cemetery. Opened in 1936, this cemetery includes many lawn and monumental burial sites in different religious and general areas, and an enclosed mausoleum.
